Both Quality And Quantity Are Important For Effective Transcription

In transcription, both quality and quantity are important. They always complement one another – like pen and ink. A pen is of no value to someone who would use it if it has no ink, and an ink cannot be used alone; it has to be inside a pen so it will write.

To be one of the key contributors in the earnings of a company, a transcriptionist should give the numbers.

No one could deny that it is the quantity that brings company revenue, and basically, what keeps a company from keep on going.

As long as a company delivers the number, a company will surely continue to have business with their clients.

On the other hand, numbers are not everything. A company should also want to keep the clientele that they already have and attract the possible patrons as well, that is why the quality of work done should not be taken for granted.

While it is true that the quantity of work is what keeps a company from earning, the quality of work is what sets them apart from other businesses that offer the same service as they, and it is also the quality that gives a company an edge over the competition.

Quantity and quality are both important in transcription. One must ensure quality in the quantity of work done. No one should prioritize one over the other, because, at the end of the day, you may have finished hundreds of deliverables, but if only half of them are first-rate, you have still not proven yourself as an efficient worker.

Quality in quantity not only proves your worth but also gives someone a glimpse of who you are.
