One can start to work as transcriptionist even without adequate work experience because what is important is you have a good English grammar, good listening skills, and proficiency with Microsoft software.

As a newbie transcriptionist, it is also important that your typing skill is good because one must type fast on a per minute basis. With all of these are the basic skills to work as a newbie transcriptionist.

You do not need to enroll in a crash course or a vocational course to work as a transcriptionist. Simple knowledge of what the task and responsibilities of the work and one can start working professionally and be called as the transcriptionist.

What everyone knows with transcription work is listening to recordings of doctors or healthcare professionals to translate into written reports with 100% accuracy on the words being heard and transcribed.

As long as one understands English language and accent, one is capable of being a transcriptionist. With this, a newbie transcriptionist can do transcription work well because if you have the qualities of a good transcriptionist, you can succeed.
