Writing skill can be honed at a young age. That is why many successful writers enjoy the job and constantly makes it as a career.
Here’s one statement from a stay at home mom who loves to write and is also venturing to transcription.
"I have a thing for writing since I was a kid. I am always seen in front of a computer, typewriter, or even a sheet of paper writing and scribbling. I was able to use this hobby in developing my confidence in speaking. A year after I graduated from college, I entered the BPO industry. Being able to work in the call center industry for around five years, I have become equipped and well-versed, I must say, with different kinds of accents of different types of nationalities."
"With my passion for writing and my experience in conversing with different races, changing my career path to transcribing was not that difficult for me since I am keen when it comes to grammar and my hearing capability and understanding have been tested because of my call center experience. Through transcription, I am able to maximize my skills in grammar and writing, my analytical skills, and I learn more about a vast majority of subjects since I also do researches about the topics being discussed by the speaker/s. This is why I am enjoying transcribing, especially now that there are lots of transcription jobs available for stay at home moms like me."
