How to Improve your Transcription Skill

Someone who aspires to succeed in doing 500 lines a day transcription must practice more, of course. For example, if you are already done with your audio file, you may review by listening to the audio a couple of times.

Proofread your transcript and try to acknowledge your strong and weak points when it comes to hearing and comprehending the words spoken in the file.



Some conventional way to improve your listening skill is through watching movies or even listening to English songs. It can be a usual daily routine but by so doing, you will be more familiar with the way Americans speak their language, their slang words, their accent and even their humor.

Being an audio transcriptionist must be confident enough to do the job. Set your mind to something you really want to do. Just improve along the way and attain more training.

Five hundred lines a day transcription is a rather difficult goal if you only wonder about it, but not impossible.

If you would only have the initiative and the motivation to learn and improve your audio transcription skill, it would be achievable, maybe not instantly, but you can attain it consequently.
