Series of exams, test files, interviews – endless it seems until you finally have a chance to be medical transcriptionists in a medical transcription company. After so much determination to get hired for a job, you then succeed. Your career adventure as a medical transcriptionist starts from your training to getting hired in a stable company that can make a valuable contribution to your career growth and development.
There may be instances that working for a newly established company is an option because you just recently finish your education and on-the-job training.
I remember the company had just recently inaugurated at that time starting operation and I was one of the first few employees given the chance to work with them. I was delighted to be part of the team although it’s quite a tedious job.
I owe a lot of my work experiences with this medical transcription company, having gained my expertise in dealing with various medical specialties and reports starting with gastroenterology operative reports and endocrinology clinic visits among many others. I still can remember the cardiology files containing clinical and laboratory trials presented by physicians on conferences. Not to mention the general transcription that we work with, although at first, we were quite hesitant transcribing what we termed as business transcription, still it was worth an experience and added knowledge.
